Prayer Points for Day of Prayer & Fasting (08/09/16)
Thank you for signing up to pray for one hour today. In this hour we ask that you focus onn the points below and also pray as the Lord leads you for our church and for our city.
Consecration
Before the people of Israel entered into the land of promise, they had to consecrate themselves. In this significant season as we prepare to relocate to the south of the city, pray for all in our church family that each and every one of us will consecrate ourselves afresh unto the Lord.
Joshua 3:5:
Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
God's kingdom come
We are believing to see God's kingdom come in the city of Norwich in increasing measure. As we follow the Lord's leading and relocate, pray that all we are and do as a church will draw people to Jesus. Pray also that we will hear God clearly and know the strategies that He wants us to employ at any given time.
2 Corinthians 2:15-16:
15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life.
Victory over the enemy
Whenever God is genuinely doing something, the enemy will seek to frustrate and hinder it. In this very significant season in the life of our church, pray that all the schemes of the enemy will be exposed and thwarted.
