It's Time to Build God's House

In Haggai's day the people had neglected the building of God's house, the temple, in favour of their own homes; as a consequence, God withdrew His blessing from them. Haggai challenged the people to consider their ways and the word he brings from God sees work resume on the temple. In this message we look at four things that, whilst addressed to the people of Israel, can apply to us today as we seek to build God's house.

Consider Your Ways

It's certainly not the case that all our troubles are of our own making. However, when difficulties arise, it’s a good thing to consider our ways. Like the people of Haggai’s day, we may find that our disobedience to God's call to prioritise His kingdom may be something we need to address. This sermon encourages us to get on with the work of building "God's house".
