This message teaches the importance of obedience flowing from a heart of worship.
While the love of a mother is often awakened and stirring long before a child is born, even events thereafter are not necessarily straight forward.
Reviewing a cross section of key and lesser known women of the Bible, this message considers their love, as mothers, in light of the pain and suffering that invariably accompanied their indescribable joy.
This message considers the blessing of relationships and how God creates the perfect marriage partners.
This message looks at sowing, using the parable of the sower to explore the receptiveness of our hearts.
In this message Cecile Reeve considers five ways that God's promises were protected as He unfolded His plan. She reveals how God may choose to move the whole world to fulfill His word and what that might mean for us.
Mind your language - in this message, Cecile Reeve reminds us of the power of the sword of the Spirit.
In this message, Cecile Reeve takes us through Peter’s restoration highlighting his journey from denial to forgiveness.
In this message, Cecile Reeve shows us that in keeping with both His identity and nature, God’s plan of justice for all mankind was and is all about relationship – about the way that we relate to Him, as well as the way that we relate to one another throughout all levels of society. It is and was also a plan that involves a “seemingly grave injustice”.
Drawing insight from the 2nd chapter of Peter’s 2nd epistle, this message shouts the warning that, despite the presence of false teachers and their destructive doctrines, rather than being alarmed, believers should be alert and aware at all times - whilst also taking comfort in the God of Justice. Simultaneously, it is imperative that believers continue to grow, and press on to maturity.
This is the 7th instalment in the ‘Upon This Rock’ sermon series.

Through the lens of the 3rd chapter of Peter’s first epistle, ‘Think Kingdom’ encourages us to remain steadfast in holiness. It informs us on how to relate rightly to one another - as husbands and wives in marriage, and as brothers and sisters within the body of Christ. It also urges us to respond rightly, regardless of the circumstances - however extreme - and whether they be just or unjust.
‘Think Kingdom’ is the 4th instalment of our current series ‘Upon This Rock’. For more information about our current services, please visit onechurch.uk/church-online

Having been called and appointed by the Lord Jesus Himself, not only do we see in this message that Apostle Paul was Christ’s ambassador at Rome, but also that he very much fulfilled the role of representing the Lord and re-presenting the gospel, both at Caesarea and whilst en route to his final destination.
This is the last of 8 messages in our summer sermon series ‘Simple Acts of Revival’. Working through the book of Acts, the series focuses on the early church and seeks to identify and imitate the things that were done then, in the hope and expectation that God will bring about another Awakening in our time.

To Recap or Recapitulate has nothing to do with giving in to an opponent. In fact, it’s quite the opposite, and in this 4th message of the sermon series - ‘Simple Acts of Revival’ - we see that as the early Church grows, so does the level of resistance and enemy tactic towards it. Nevertheless, the disciples are relentless and continue to preach the kingdom and Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Fundamentally, while it is God who will determine if and when we will see another Awakening in our time, it is up to us, as God’s servants, to choose whether or not we will be a hindrance or a help to its progress.

Following the death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus spends time appearing to His disciples before departing from the earth. It is this departure - the Ascension - that is the focus of this 4th and final message in our current sermon series, ‘Cross Roads’. It is entitled Kingdom Rise.
Kingdom Rise provides insight to the highly significant journey that Jesus, as the Christ, makes from earth to heaven. It does this whilst also making reference to mission on earth, and to both the Old and New Covenants. As disciples of Jesus we are destined to follow Him.
‘Kingdom Rise’ is the fourth and final instalment of our April 2020 sermon series - ‘Cross Roads’. For more information, please visit onechurch.uk/church-online
‘Forward March’ is the 4th message in our Quick March sermon series. It encourages us, as disciples, to take faith-filled steps in opening the door to heaven, and sharing the Gospel of salvation - a message of hope - with those who have not yet heard.
The sermon is followed by a short address by Malcolm Reeve. Please visit onechurch.uk/church-online for more information.
On your marks; Get set; Go, Go, Go!’ is the second message in our January sermon series entitled 1-2-3-GO! It tracks the journey of Joshua and the Israelites as they prepare to move from Acacia Grove to the Jordan River, and finally into the Promised Land. It identifies a number of significant preparations that we can apply today in our own journey of holiness. God is still calling us to “Be holy, for I am holy.” [1 Peter 1:16].
The third message of December’s ‘Christmas Convergence’ series, entitled ‘Prophetic People’, reveals the significant people and events that occurred through their lives - fulfilling prophetic words given hundreds of years before. Be inspired in your own life as you hear how God uses ordinary available people in His unfolding Sovereign plan.
As we continue with our new sermon series ‘Recycled’, this message explores and unpacks how, despite her nationality and tragic situation, God, as the Master Recycler, turned Ruth’s life around and used it for His glory, aligning her to His Sovereign plan.
This is a message of encouragement and hope to anyone who is either in a difficult situation or whose life isn’t quite what they think it should be. In particular, it is a message to women, as well as those who are excluded for whatever reason.
Focusing on the book of Ephesians, this message ‘I Am Accepted’ - part of the sermon series 'This is Me' - explores acceptance from God’s perspective. Armed with such truth it provides insight on how to continue the Christian walk in relation to God and others. It also provides tools on how to deal with the various types of rejection we can face, and helps us to know our identity in Christ.
