Represent | Acts 26-28

Represent | Acts 26-28

Having been called and appointed by the Lord Jesus Himself, not only do we see in this message that Apostle Paul was Christ’s ambassador at Rome, but also that he very much fulfilled the role of representing the Lord and re-presenting the gospel, both at Caesarea and whilst en route to his final destination.

This is the last of 8 messages in our summer sermon series ‘Simple Acts of Revival’. Working through the book of Acts, the series focuses on the early church and seeks to identify and imitate the things that were done then, in the hope and expectation that God will bring about another Awakening in our time.

Re-Establish | Acts 20-25

Re-Establish | Acts 20-25

We travel from Acts to the modern day in this message - Re-establish. The Apostle Paul had been used mightily by God in the 1st Century to establish churches and leaders all around the Mediterranean. We are now in the 21st Century and God is still using men and women to re-establish His Kingdom on the earth. The baton/mantle has been passed to the modern-day church - us! Are you ready to play your part?

As you listen we pray that God will establish in your heart His plan and purpose for you.

‘Re-Establish’ is the 7th message of the sermon series - ‘Simple Acts of Revival’ - For more information about our current services, please visit onechurch.uk/church-online

Reproduce | Acts 16-19

Reproduce | Acts 16-19

Do we realise the important part we have to play in building God’s church? In Acts chapters 16-19, we read about Paul’s missionary travels into lands that had not yet received the Gospel. We see how God not only continues to do a powerful work through Paul and his travelling companions but also through the newer believers like Timothy, Lydia, Silas, Aquila and Priscilla. Through the simple acts of revival done by these ordinary disciples, the church of Jesus begins reproducing disciples as it extends to new territories. As you listen to this message today, may you be empowered to see how God can likewise use your faithful service for His glory.

Recognise | Acts 8-15

Recognise | Acts 8-15

Do we really recognise the new thing God is doing in our time? In Acts chapters 8-15, we see how God began to open the door for non-Jews to receive the light of the Gospel. Through divinely orchestrated events, the early church begins to recognise their missionary calling to the Gentile world. They must also recognise the unlikely vessels that God is choosing for this new venture, such as the newly converted Saul who would become known as Apostle Paul. For us, just like the early church, there will always be new things that God is doing in our time that he expects us to see and embrace.
