Grace Under Fire is the 5th instalment of our current series - Upon This Rock. In this message, we learn how we as believers are called to keep serving the Lord faithfully, despite the challenges and persecutions that we may face. However, as we unpack 1 Peter chapter 4, we read how we are not called upon to do this in our own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit; the Spirit of Glory who will rest upon us mightily.

Think Kingdom | 1 Peter 3

Through the lens of the 3rd chapter of Peter’s first epistle, ‘Think Kingdom’ encourages us to remain steadfast in holiness.  It informs us on how to relate rightly to one another - as husbands and wives in marriage, and as brothers and sisters within the body of Christ.  It also urges us to respond rightly, regardless of the circumstances - however extreme - and whether they be just or unjust.

This is Peter | Introduction to 1 & 2 Peter

This Is Peter - launches our new sermon series - Upon This Rock. In it we get to know the author of the amazing New Testament letters, 1 & 2 Peter, it outlines why they were written and what they teach. They come from a man who both walked, and shared life, with Jesus. He was then powerfully used by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and thereafter. 

This key figure used in the building of God’s church has much to tell us from firsthand experience. He encourages and prepares believers on how to face suffering and persecution, together with guidance on how to live the Christian life in a hostile world. Both letters have so much to teach us in the world in which we now live.
